The 30th of January marked an inspiring day of environmental action as employees from Eden Leisure Group, Casino Malta, and InterContinental Malta joined forces to clean up Wied Ħarq Ħamiem in St. Julian’s. This collaborative effort highlights the power of community in protecting Malta’s natural landscapes.
Wied Ħarq Ħamiem is a unique valley rich in biodiversity, now under restoration thanks to the dedicated work of Nature Trust. We are proud to support their mission, forging a long-term partnership that extends into 2025 and beyond. Through ongoing volunteering and fundraising activities, we aim to play an active role in the valley’s rehabilitation, ensuring it thrives for future generations.
As part of this commitment, InterContinental Malta restaurants will introduce a discretionary €1 charge added to each bill. Every euro collected will directly support Nature Trust’s restoration efforts in Wied Ħarq Ħamiem, funding activities like habitat restoration, conservation projects, and educational initiatives.
This initiative reflects our shared belief that small contributions can create significant change. By working together—businesses, employees, and the wider community—we can protect Malta’s natural heritage and promote a greener, healthier future.
